• 1. Seven courses are organized face-to-face

The “EMBA in Austria”-program  is delivered in the same format as the EMBA program offered on campus at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California:

Seven courses are organized face-to-face, each delivered over one intensive weekend in Austria. So there is a total number of only 7 class room weekends during 15 months. The weekend-sessions are offered on 3 different locations in parallel: In Vienna, Graz and Linz. You are absolutely free in chosing and changnig your location during the program.

  • 2. Six courses are organized via CLU’s award winning e-Learning platform.

Each of these online courses takes 8 weeks. Every week requires your activity and includes one live-session in a virtual class room with the instructor in California (at 19:00, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday), case studies, discussion boards, quizzes and small essays (individually or in teams).

  • 3. The two remaining courses are delivered during a final 2-week study program in Thousand Oaks, California (USA).

This study trip also includes extra-curricular activities such as company visits, field trips, or guest speakers. At the end of the trip you will participate in the School of Management’s annual graduation banquet and the university’s graduation ceremony. Check out pictures of latest study trips here!

  • The table to the right is an example of a typical program schedule. For each cohort, the program starts in spring in one year and concludes with graduation in May the following year.
