Vlad Vaiman is an Associate Dean and Professor of International Management at the School of Management of California Lutheran University and is a visiting professor at several premier universities around the world (Austria, France, Iceland, and Finland). Dr. Vaiman has published three remarkable books on managing talent in organizations – Smart Talent Management: Building Knowledge Assets for Competitive Advantage (with C. Vance), Talent Management of Knowledge Workers: Embracing the Non-Traditional Workforce, and Talent Management of Self-initiated Expatriates: A Neglected Source of the Global Talent Flow (with A. Haslberger, 2013) – as well as a number of academic and practitioner-oriented articles in the fields of talent management and international HRM. His work has appeared in top academic journals including Academy of Management Learning & Education, Academy of Management Perspectives, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and others. He is a co-founder and editor-in-chief of the European Journal of International Management (EJIM), an ISI/SSCI indexed publication (www.ejim-global.org).
